2010 Alluviale Tardif

The 2010 Tardif is a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. It is intensely scented of lemon marmalade, candied orange peel and clover honey with nuances of dried herbs and musk. Medium-full bodied, viscous and fully sweet in the mouth (65 grams per liter of residual sugar), it offers a good concentration of candied citrus flavors with lively acidity and a long herb-laced finish. Drink it now to 2014. |

Made from late-harvested Sauvignon Blanc, this is a gorgeous sweet wine that's not excessively sweet. The bouquet is lifted and complex exhibiting candied apple, dried apricot and honey characters with a touch of spice notes. It's lush and opulent on the palate showing appealing sweetness (67 g/l), silky texture and perfectly pitched acidity. The wine has a lovely mid palate weight and a rounded mouthfeel, making it a great wine to partner terrines, cheeses and light desserts. One of the best value sweet wines I've tasted a long time. At its best: now to 2014. |

2010 Alluviale Tardif
Peters Picks –Thirst Magazine, November 2010 issue
Light and fresh, some sweetness (69 g/p/l with 12.5% alc) with a hint of noble raisining which adds perfectly to this variety. Hawkes Bay and an innovative winemaker can develop some special wines and this is one of them, refreshing, versatile with food and a very clean and tasty mix of quite complex flavours. Years of fine sipping ahead. |

2008 Alluviale Anobli
Sauvignon Blanc 93 points Reviewed by Bob Campbell 02/09
Very sweet wine with beautifully pure botrytis flavours of honey, marmalade and toffee. It's difficult to recognise any varietal character but the wine is very precise and perfectly balanced. |
